SGR USA is a Proud sponsor of this event!

4th Annual Craig Webb Mini-Moto Ride Day Sept. 26, 2009

 ( email recieved)

Hey Everyone,

I hope this email finds you and your families doing well this year. I am contacting you to announce the 4th Annual Craig Webb Backyard Mini-Moto Ride Day in Elizabethtown, Pa. on Sept. 26th, 2009. This event is to benefit the American Heart Association. Every year we are more successful than the previous years and we couldn't do it without you guys in the pit bike scene. Last year we received thousands of dollars in parts donations for raffle and raised $12,000. All proceeds benefited the AHA.

Four years ago, my brother, Craig and mother, Nancy both died of heart related issues and since then, I have made it my mission to raise as much money as I possibly can by having this fund raiser event every year that is fun for everyone. In the past, several sponsors stepped up to the plate and made this event very successful. Last year I had over 100 entries and 200 people total for this event.

Please help my cause. The Webb family would greatly appreciate it.

Please contact me Jeff (717) 608-5606 or at jspider70@aol.com. Also please check Planetminis.com for updated information on this event. I will also be constructing a web site in the near future for a more centralized location for this event information.

Well We had fun this year. The track was one of the hardest layouts with a full on supercross whoop section, alittle over kill but hey everyone complained the track was slow and easy so they definatley made a good competitive layout this year.

Team SGR/SSR had the following results this year

10A Main Jeremiah Staggs 10th
10Y Main Cameron Kyler 11th
8" vintage Jeremiah Staggs 6th
Team JJW sponsored by SGR USA rider Erika Short was hot on the track and won the Women's class. Way to go and it we are very happy to be a part of the JJW Designs Team. SSR's Jeff Willoh got 15th in the 10E and 8th in the 12E class. He did well considering he hadn't ridden the bikes in months and just showed up to race. We were happy to help out with some minor adjustments on the bikes as Jeff pitted with us.I had a blast battling in the 8" class, Me and Doug Sullivan had to show some support for Jlaw in the main.To everyone else who made the podium and main events, Congratulations!I want to thank everyone who Sponsors and helps out Team SGR!

SGR is a sponsor of Team JJW. WE just recieved this update via email and wanted to share it.

Keith Wharton - was riding a bike we put together from scratch the day before the event, unfortunately the motor blew up and he was unable to make his race. However, he helped us wrench on the rest of the bikes as we were to run into a few more issues during the night...

Steven Blackwell - Slated to ride the stock 50 class aboard his SSR70, Steven got hit by another rider and broke his triple clamp, making him unable to make his moto's during the night, so he grabbed a video camera and got footage of everyone else.

Justin Wharton - Planned on racing the 110 stock and 50 stock class, however I broke the chain adjusters on my KLX110 and had to miss that class, thus having to give it my all in the 50 class. Riding my SSR70, I killed the bike twice in the first moto but still got third, and then in the 2nd moto got the holeshot and was upfront until I tipped over. I got back going again and finished third, less than a bikelength behind 2nd place though.

Anthony Cerruti - Anthony had some good rides. he was aboard a KLX110 with a 143 kit and stock head, so he was pretty well underpowered in the mod class but still went 2-3 for second overall (full gate of riders). In the stock 110 class he ended up finished 3rd overall. He had good speed but the top two riders looked to have a little extra horsepower out of their "stock" bikes.

Brandon Hess - Brandon had jetting problems through out the night, however that didn't stop him from putting in a great ride in the 50 Mod class. Brandon was up front in the first moto but after some good battling he got relocated to 3rd place. He was staying on their pace but couldn't quite get by them again, however over the finish line he did WOW the crowd by throwing a good heelclicker. :) Second moto went well, he once again holeshotted but ended up crashing and only finished 3rd in that moto too, giving him 3rd overall.

A few pictures are attached, and you can see a video here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAPl-GUnj90

SSR 150R REVIEW (NEW 70 STYLE MIDSIZE BIKE)

the one I rode stalled a few times, I think it was due to the heat plus IRK. Putting stock flywheels back on would be a good idea. I was very impressed with the bike guys. It is the first mini that I didn't have to fight on the flat corners to keep straight. As I said down there the bike is as if it corners on its own. One thing I lack as a rider is flat corner ability and with that bike, for the first time it wasn't a issue and the faster I took the corners the better it stuck in them. The suspension and geometry of the bike is spot on. They really knew what they were doing when they made this chassis. Every one knows here I actually have ridden alot of different pitbikes including the big names and this one is by far the best pitbike I have ever rode. It actually handled and feels like a big bike, and this was on the 12/10 combo. The motor in the one I rode was the 165 kit,v2 head etc and it was managable and came on smooth once you get the hang of it( I know your thinking havn't I built these engine combos, and the answer is yes. Alot of them now. but never rode one yet LOL). we all know how the yx transmissions are smooth as well. You will definatley see me racing one soon. Look for me on one in texas For those of you holding out for this bike you will not be disappointed, I know I wasn't. My other riders Brandon and Josh shared the same opinions and the three of us couldn't stop talking about them.

you guys wanted a honest review, well there you have it.

RESERVE YOURS TODAY!

OGM has a new aluminum framed bike in the works, and it is approved by BBR. Check out the press release from the BBR website. It seems OGM is really stepping it up next year.

Seattle, WA (December 11th 2007) - BBR Motorsports, Inc. announced that a settlement has been reached with OGM relating to an infringement on BBR's Aluminum Frame Patents. According to BBR's intellectual property attorneys, at Seed IP Law Group in Seattle, the settlement has resulted in an agreement which allows OGM to continue to manufacture and sell complete motorcycles which incorporate certain aspects of BBR's Patented Frame and Swingarm Designs.

"We are happy to have this agreement settled with OGM Industries. OGM responded to our concerns in an ethical manner. As BBR continues to pursue resolution to intellectual property issues, we are glad to see a company like OGM that is committed to dealing with these types of issues in an appropriate way." - Brent Brown, General Manager, BBR Motorsports.

BBR is not involved in any way with the manufacturing, operations or sales of any OGM motorcycles, frames or other products, and further states that it will not lend any rights to its BBR brand, expertise or technology in any capacity. BBR is committed to protecting its Trademarks and Patents, and continues to produce authentic hand-crafted BBR products at its factory headquarters near Seattle, Washington.

The 146cc SGR Pro Motor is the Motor out of the "Vegas" Bike that Dean Horsten rode to Both 10" and 12" Pro mains at MMSX

Well as soon as I Fired up the bike for the first Time it was clear that it meant Business, I took a guess at the Jetting and only had to Go up to a 112 Main 42 pilot in the Kehlin 24mm Race Carb ive been using on my Race Bikes for a Couple of years now...Ive got that Carb working well and its dialed in. Prehaps a 26mm and a Inner Rotor Might give it a bit more topend..but thats not what Im looking for.

with the Jetting dialed in the throttle responce was quick and crisp, Cause as soon as I pulled onto the track and went up through the gears " The SGR Pro 146cc Motor"........RIPS this bike is Holeshot material Period!!

The Power hits Strong Down low, and really pulled out of the corners so throttle control is needed to keep the rear end from shooting out and the front end from comming up. The Midrange is awesome and pulls hard that you have to shift your body forward a bit to keep the front end down.

Up on the topend is the much the same it pulls great shifting up from 3rd to 4th without Going flat which I like cause I can go to a Higher Gear through the turns to flow and increase corner speed. the Deep Sands of Southwick couldn't hold this bike back as it pulled hard up the Spectator jump in Skidplate dragging deep rutts and it Never bogged once....

All in all this bike Will run with the Big Dollar BBR Midsized Bikes and this Combination with the right Rider " is a KLX KILLER " ....

Well it is time we started gearing up the 2008 Staggs Team. If you want to be part of it we have both a level A rider and level B rider status. Now some of the benefits of being a Staggs Rider is not only getting deals on Staggs stuff but we also hook riders up with anything we sell for good prices for representing us. Submit resumes and all info to Jeremiah@staggsminis.com. Each year our team grows and we want 2008 to be a even stronger year. Also if you own a company that would like to support a well and professional represented team please also contact myself by either phone or email. Thanks guys and hope to make it a good 07/08 season. I also want to thank everyone who was part of the 2007 team & its sponsors who supported us.
